Do you consume your meals at home? Then pitch in the kitchen! If your wife has asked you to assist her in the kitchen and you are looking for reasons to do so. It goes above and beyond the call of duty. It comes down to putting your interests aside for the benefit of someone you care about. It’s a touching gesture. If your partner’s love language is acts of kindness, then helping in the kitchen is speaking their language and will earn you a lot of favors! You are a doctor, a banker, an engineer, a professional, or a layperson; believe me, The kitchen is a stressful environment for the Wife. There is planning, cooking, and cleaning. It can take several hours! Jumping in to help means (by action) saying, “I see you’re busy, and I love you enough to do whatever I can to help YOU.” Words are not as effective as actions. So just do something and help out in the kitchen.
